Sorry Jack... Chucky's back!
After the events of the first movie, play pal toys acquired the crispy remains of the doll that was once claimed to be possessed by the lake shore strangler.
The company decided to rebuild the good guy doll from what salvageable remains it had. Soon thereafter, murder ensues.
Andy has been adopted by the Simpson family due to the fact that his mother has been locked up in the insane asylum for her testimony in the killer doll case.
He find a Good Guy doll stashed in his closet that the family had bought for him and in an effort to impress his newly adoptive parents, Andy decides to act like he is fine with the doll by bringing him around with him wherever he goes. Until it is actually revealed to be Chucky himself who came back to try and take over Andy's body once again.
Greatest kill of the movie by far has to be when Chucky goes after Andy's teacher. Just a classic moment in horror!
I love this movie, I think it is due to the upgrades in the special effects department which helped make Chucky look (for the most part) fluid in his motions and movements. Also a big part I like about this is the improvement in speed Chucky has as opposed to the first film.
I have to give this movie an 8.5 out of 10. The third and final kills are more or less the reason why my rating is so high. The final kill is just gold, what better way to take out a serial killer?
